simplifying emacs whitespace mode
If you’re looking at a file and trying to figure out what’s going on in the whitespace department, emacs defaults for whitespace mode are a bit crazy.
Case in point:
Seriously not fun to look at. This post has some good tips for removing the colors and using unicode characters for newline and tab markers. Makes life much more pleasant.
